HPS Staffs. Group 'Monthly Blog'
It's November 5th and we are preparing the plants in pots with a covering of fleece protection, in threat of a widespread frost this evening. It's been a busy Autumn cutting down and tidying beds and borders. This year most are being top dressed with a bark mulch to hide the bare soil. A drier period than in previous years, as the cows in the field behind us are still out grazing. Normally the end of October sees them tucked away undercover. The weather will no doubt change sooner, rather than later. To anyone in the area, just come along to the October meeting as a guest. You can visit to test us out, before you join.
